+ MathMAT takes traditional flashcards and turns them around -- at least figuratively. Rather than presenting an addition or subtraction problem in which the student must respond with the answer, A+ MathMAT gives you the answer and you must quickly select two numbers that fit the solution. It's a challenge for all ages. Choose from five grade levels in either addition or subtraction. The program presents a solution, and you must find two factors that provide the correct answer by searching a grid of number squares. Time pressure is on because the longer it takes, the fewer points you get. And, don't be surprised if the number you seek isn't in the grid and you have to change to a different solution. Sound effects accompany right and wrong responses, and a high-score honor roll tracks your work.
A+ MathMAT 1.0.0 was released by Direct Logic Systems on Monday 01 April 2002.
A+ MathMAT will run on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows NT and Windows XP.
